   Trick question.

   There is no abuser fee.

   The scientists who broke the speed of light law were German, not Virginian.

   Therefore, abuser fees do not apply.

   I’m reading a book now entitled, “The Elegant Universe,” about the effort to reconcile Einstein’s relativity theory with quantum mechanics through string theory. The book could be called “Theoretical Physics for Dummies,” but I’m having a tough time following it anyway. Still, if I understand correctly, string theory allows for not only nine spatial dimensions (the three that we can sense plus up to six micro-dimensions perceptible only at the level of quarks and gluons) but there may be more than one time dimension. The book offered the theoretical possibility of traveling back through time — if you could reduce yourself to the size of an elementary particle. I’m guessing that the German physicists might have provided empirical evidence for this remarkable theory.
