The graduation numbers at VMI show comparable results for minorities as non-minorities – to their credit – although Asians are lower for some reason.

The Houston Press reported that, while campaigning for Dan Quayle in 1988, DeLay was asked why he hadn’t fought in Vietnam. He responded that “So many minority youths had volunteered for the well-paying military positions to escape poverty and the ghetto that there was literally no room for patriotic folks like himself.”
If VMI is even hinting to their black cadets that the military is their best option, one would expect higher numbers accepting commissions, AND that would be systemic racism.

Only other one I’ve seen…Humor! Very effective riposte…Even if this may be gallows humor. VMI is getting screwed royally by Northam. I am now in the camp that despises the man, and this is why.

It doesn’t mean the institution isn’t racist, only that this particular outcome doesn’t reflect it.
Kinda like you, and the rest of the vocal alumni association members, don’t reflect the extremely prejudicial Leftist UVa education.
