VDOT Backs Blenheim Park Interchange

The Virginia Department of Transportation backs approval of a proposed interchange along Interstate 64 near Regent University on the condition that some local roads also are expanded, the Virginian-Pilot reports. The interchange would provide access to the 500-acre Blenheim Park development proposed by Pat Robertson and his Christian Broadcasting Network.

States the Pilot: “Building the City Line Parkway interchange would help relieve pressure at the Indian River Road and Greenbrier Parkway interchanges, VDOT officials said in a report sent Wednesday to the Federal Highway Administration in Richmond.”
