  1. The Virginia governor says he will develop his position after he reads a commissioned study on the “stigma” of the uranium mine in southern Virginia. That stigma has already arrived in Halifax and Pittsylvania County, where real estate and business are suffering from the prospects of radioactive wastes, piled up in a ditch, being guarded forever for signs of contamination of our air and water.
