Funny, as in sad ironic, that was one of the reasons we gave to defeat the Transportation Tax Scam in 02. Study better. Pouring more concrete is only one of the possible answers.

Well, a modern high tech automobile with all the moving parts, exotic materials, creature comforts, and electronics costs around $1300 per foot. One lane of roadway costs from $1000 to $5000 per foot.

    What’s wrong with this picture?

  3. My understanding is that Potts commission wouldn’t just study – they’d actually have the power to recommend and follow through with decisions. There’s a big difference…

So, Paul, the courageous Potts will not only have his commission come up with the solution, but let them also “follow through with decisions?”

Does that mean they will bypass our elected officials and impose their plan? That’s brave and bold–double-decker brave!

Potts’ plan is way better than letting regular voters have a say. Blue Ribbon Commissions always know best.

  5. Hmmm. I tend to agree with your last statement.

    But I’m an elitist.
