    Lorena Bobbitt, the woman who helped make Manassas, Virginia famous.

    EDIT: When I was a kid, I thought everyone knew that Manassas was an important part of civil war history.

    Later on I found that that most people don’t know and don’t care. If they’ve heard of Manassas at all, it’s due to the 1993 incident.

    Posted on Mother’s Day when people are thinking about the relationship between parents and children, this sure seems to be in bad taste!

      Kinda tastes bad too. Maybe licking is not the best way for me to clean my iPad’s screen?

      If their knowledge of the assignment of gender by the organism were correct then their assumptions about corrective surgery would be more valid.

      After all, there was great outrage from their ilk in the case of Leola Mae Harmon.

        Guess you’re just gonna hafta take me word for it.

        I certainly don’t trust Disqus to store anything. Plus, I can’t get back more than a month on Disqus before the page of my posts reloads. Perhaps it’s a good feature.

        Absence of proof and proof of absence and all that rot.

          Haven’t had a problem with finding old stuff in disqus given a good time frame. I can’t explain the deletion without seeing it in context.
