Allen, TX. Yet another failed experiment in an armed society is a safe society. What’s on the agenda for today?

        The well-armed militia strikes again…

This keeps happening. When will we outlaw high capacity assault vehicles? No weapons of war on our streets! End manufacturers immunity from liability for making these killer vehicles.

This keeps happening. First it was grandmas in Wisconsin, now it’s immigrants in Texas. It’s a nationwide scourge. When will we outlaw high capacity assault vehicles? No weapons of war on our streets! End manufacturers immunity from liability for making these killer SUVs.

Overall popularity down to 36%. Only about 1/3 of Dems and Dem leaning want Biden to run again while 58% want someone else.

Close to 2/3 said Biden is not mentally sharp enough to be president. Some of us think while that is more profound recently it has been true for 80 years. Joe was never a bright bulb.

    Wash Post/ABC News poll https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/05/07/president-biden-post-abc-poll/

      Looks like Trump is a shoe-in… 😂

Scary part is that he might be. Bad as Trump’s numbers were in the Post/ABC poll they were better than Biden’s. So much for the Dems delusion that if he’s the Repub nominee they can easily beat him again.

They’re both too old, among other disqualifiers. There’s no “lesser evil” between them. It’s a long time until the election. Got my fingers crossed the parties will cough up actual candidates. I’m tired of voting 3rd party.

I don’t think Dems believe Biden is a shoe-in by any means. He is our President though which pretty much makes him the candidate if he wants the nomination (and apparently he does). He also has the best chance of beating Trump/Desantis. I think he is better situated this time around than last. Trump has even more negatives and Biden has accomplished a great deal in his 1st term. I get the Right might not agree with what he has done but the Left does and we definitely feel we have something to vote FOR this time around vs just AGAINST.

Loved the Duracell F-35. I was considering a post on Granholm’s incredibly stupid comment about the military going to battery power, after going to Langley yesterday to see the F-16, F-18, F-22 and F-35 put through their paces. Only a complete freaking moron (or public school physics D student) thinks you get get that kind power power-thrust-weight equation from a battery.

You do realize the first MSR was in an effort to capitalize on Feynman’s $1 patent, right?

Also, don’t look up. Solar powered planes exist.

They don’t do what I saw those planes do yesterday.

I saw them Friday, practicing. Apparently, they had a Poquoson teacher onboard for a ride-along.

Ironic, with NASA right next door, doncha think?

She can put that Duracell military where the sun don’t shine.

OTOH, the MIC isn’t doing but so well without Granholm’s help. The F35 is the most expensive weapon system in history and is accumulating bugs faster than they are getting fixed. The Navy ship count is going down rather than up. The Army does not have enough artillery ammo to fight a peer foe for more than a couple of weeks. Seems unlikely the Space Force, Marines and Coasties can take up all the slack. Makes me anxious.

In keeping with the theme of your new pledge, I offer the following excerpts from an “inspirational document”.

Start with “He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good,” and end with “He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.”

I’d say that identity group grievance is “in our DNA” but others laid claim to that back in 1619.
