        I once had a kid in class that loved to pull the fire alarm. He was fire truck fanatic. And he always was rewarded! He couldn’t help himself. His IEP was as thick as a NYC telephone book.

          My sister and sister-in-law both work with students who have special needs.

          Thought I had heard everything, but that’s a new one.

            He was a good kid. He loved to watch reruns of that old TV show Emergency! That was our bonding point. He knew every bit of trivia about that show. I picked up a authentic Emergency lunch box complete with original thermos and gave it to him on one condition. Don’t pull the fire alarm. Total fail. But was worth a try.
