   Happy Turkey Day to YOU and all the BRers.

   There was a time when I did not keep track of calories and fat grams (and I probably should have been) but nowdays when I
   see that much BACON… I salivate AND cringe at the same time!

   😉

   and remember – what you say in the way of politics at the Thanksgiving table – may determine the number and size of Christmas gifts later on!

   Featured in today’s WaPo: teams of airport beagles catch travellers trying to sneak pork products into or around the US — to keep out the Asian Swine Flu virus. Glad you’re not flying here with Bacon-Bird! But Happy Thanksgiving to those who do get to eat it in Richmond.

   I controlled my urges yesterday, substituting sweet potatoes for mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy. Now I won’t talk about the pinot noir or cocoanut cake for my sister-in-law’s birthday. The best thing was no one talked politics just food, football and family life.
