His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn’t have to. “Not Phil or Steven:” I’ve been purposefully avoiding answering your posts, even though your pseudonym is flattering to me in its own way.
However, I don’t appreciate your trying to put words in my mouth. Where do you get the gull to say that “they” (I’m presumably included in this group) attack the police and the schools? I’m a retired federal law enforcement officer who has the utmost respect for the men and women that put their life on the line to protect us from harm.
As to the schools, I also have the utmost respect for teachers. But I detest the NEA and it’s liberal politicization of our schools and their curriculums. So are we now supposed to look the other way and pretend that the emperor is wearing clothes, when in-fact our education system is failing our kids?

Barnie: I absolutely agree. I wasn’t born here, but have lived in this coutnry for some 35 years now. I served in the Army and then the Foreign Service where I saw first hand how lucky we are to be Americans.
But all luck aside, if your side continues with its leftist socialist drift, I’m afraid it won’t be long before we become another banana republic.
