I came across a couple of laugh-out-loud memes this week. Here’s one:
-
Logical Fallacies abound when most try to argue with Libertarians.
-
Unlike arguments with social conservatives where abortion is murder but the death penalty is not. Or, government overreach is a huge problem but putting adults in jail for owning a plant is a good idea.
-
They are wrong, abortion under the guidance of Roe v Wade (while I find morally repugnant) is legal. The problem arises when many wish to expand outside of that guidance and push for more and more expansion.
If someone wishes to have an abortion they merely need to pay for it themselves and the services should be offered without the fungibility of the budget (being subsidized by the Government).
What abortion represents to the “right”, “gun control” represents to the left. This is exactly why you’ll never have meaningful legislation on either of those topics, it will dry up party (outrage) funding.
Weed was legal till the 70’s and most anabolic steroids’ were legal into the 90’s. People should be able to put whatever they would like into their bodies, it is not the Governments place to dictate that or play nanny. You should be faced with the consequences of your own actions.

“Weed was legal till the 70’s…”
Not really. See Marijuana Tax Act of 1937, Boggs Act of 1952 and Narcotics Control Act of 1956.
-
In 1969 the 37 Tax Act was found Unconstitutional. Which prompted Congress to pass the Controlled Substances Act ( completely outlawing to include medical use). That’s where it received it’s current schedule and despite efforts to change it, has not since.

True libertarians do not buy houses in areas subject to an HOA.
-
… and none can afford a nuke.
-
Elon Musk might disagree.
-
The prohibition on nukes is a International Treaty.
-
Yeah, and that works.
-
-
-
Exactly.
They also do not buy houses at the end of runways and then complain about jet noise.
-
Better than yellow snow I suppose – please pass the Benadryl
I’ve seen much worse years. Either that or I’ve finally acclimated.
