And the runner-up is…

“In October 2020, Bobulinski was invited by the Trump campaign to attend a presidential debate after he released business records about his dealings with Hunter and James Biden. At a press conference before the debate, he claimed to have met with Joe Biden in May 2017, as part of discussions over a potential business deal with a Chinese energy firm, CEFC.”
Remind me again, which elected office did Joe Biden hold in May of 2017? This internet thingy keeps coming up with a blank.

Actually Bacon’s cartoons pretty much sums up Conservatives approach to governance these days:

This meme is bunk. I have a tea party license plate because I am disgusted with out of control government spending and our deficits, but still consider myself a moderate on many issues. I do not know any Republicans that consider themselves “progressive”, but I do know several people who support tea party philosophies that are independents.

Bob Goode tea party or far right?
-
You’re just in attack mode, right ? Question does not make any sense based on my comment. So I’m just going to ignore
-
no. fair question! your opinion?
-
Neither

My opinion is in the meme I posted. I consider Bob Goode and company far right,
way past tea party. A shut-it-all-down, burn it down “conservative”.

“I do not know any Republicans that consider themselves “progressive”…”

“Progressive conservatism speaks to the disinterested desire to promote the common good.”
I’d like to ask conservatives what they think that means.
-
As detailed in the piece:
“ He [the Progressive Conservative] would also emulate the liberal policies that make Denmark and Canada far more egalitarian and mobile than we are, by capping college tuition and offering a national catastrophic health plan. These are progressive conservative policies that voters would greatly welcome…”
and
“ Nationalism also requires a sense of solidarity with one’s fellow Americans. That is why, like Eisenhower, the Trump supporter could make his peace with the welfare state—and why Trumpism was anathema to the right-winger. It’s also why the National Conservatives, who want to make America great while ignoring nationalism’s leftward gravitational force, seem vulgar and inauthentic in their nationalism. You can’t be a nationalist and indifferent to the welfare of the poorest Americans. If you are, you’re simply another right-winger.”
A truly interesting take, imo, by a true Trumper…

The meme should have included protesters displaying the slogan below. It’s ubiquitous at pro Palestinian protests.
“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is a slogan commonly featured in pro-Palestinian campaigns and chanted at demonstrations.
Demanding justice for Palestinians, or calling for a Palestinian state should not also mean negating Israel’s existence. This chant can be understood as a call for a Palestinian state extending from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, territory that includes the State of Israel, implying the dismantling of the Jewish state. Indeed, this rallying cry has long been used by the anti-Israel terrorist organizations such as Hamas and the PFLP, which seek Israel’s destruction through violent means.
