Jim,

My point exactly - BRAVO!

Now, remember, we'll have to define what your "facts" are. Great subject, weak delivery.

Keep working,...you're great! Thanks.

Karen: Thanks for the feedback. Other folks love it. You are welcomed to your opinion. If you ever want to engage in facts, instead of feelings, in the marketplace of ideas, please do.

Jim,

While I do not share many of your views, I have, up until now, respected the arguments you have presented. This piece is really embarrassing. You have initiated discussion about an interesting and relevant topic and made some great points. Unfortunately, you have undermined your own credibility and authoritative voice by lacing this piece with an overwhelming number of toxically prejudicial and false assertions.

I do not have the time nor the inclination to "call you" on all the false assumptions and nasty labeling you engage in here. You come across as bitter with a personal axe to grind. I feel that you undermined the power of your arguments - which need voice - with your own bias. Too bad. I agree with you about presentism, but question seriously your characterizations of the people you attack. Reading your diatribe, I am reminded of the same shrieking and whining that those you disdain engage in when trying to get their point across..hhhmmmm

I think you underestimate the majority of people in this piece. The "evil" liberals and secular humanists are not nearly as prevalent and powerful as you describe. Sadly, you come across as the stereotypical conservative Republican that claims that they love this country yet seem to hate most of the people that make it up. I hope you present this argument again sometime when you are less influenced by fear and anger. Are all the positive feelings surrounding the inauguration serving as an irritant and catalyst for this immaturity? Sure seems some bug crawled up your butt.
